10-Hour and 30-Hour OSHA Safety Training

Martech Training Services is now staffed to offer Instructor-Led OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour General Industry courses, which includes teaching workers to recognize, avoid, and prevent workplace hazards.

The 10-hour OSHA course is intended for entry level workers. It begins with an Introduction to OSHA and emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention in, what OSHA has identified as, the five most cited areas during inspections. These include:

  • Walking/Working Surfaces and Fall Protection
  • Exit Routes/EAP/Fire Prevention Plans/Fire Protection
  • Electrical
  • PPE
  • Hazard Communication

Additionally, the course is customizable to better fit your organization’s needs with the addition of 2-4 of the following topics:

  • Hazardous Materials
  • Materials Handling
  • Machine Guarding
  • Introduction to Industrial Hygiene
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Ergonomics
  • Safety and Health Program
  • Fall Protection

The 30-hour OSHA course is intended to provide a wider variety of safety information to workers with some safety responsibility. It is a deeper, more diverse, and more customizable dive into the topics covered in the 10-hour course.
